Biographical Sketch

Meital Gil-Davis is the OMLab coordinator. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Education from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Meital is now a graduate student in the Child Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Haifa. She is currently receiving practicum training at the "Zvulun" Educational Psychological Service, treating children in individual and group settings. Prior to joining the OML, she worked as a research assistant in The Cognitive Neuropsychology Lab (Ben Gurion University), focused on developmental trajectories of numerical cognition; as well as in the Parenting and Education Motivation Research Lab (Ben Gurion University) focused on parent-child relationships. She studied mentalization among adolescent girls suffering from eating disorders and their parents. Nowadays she is focusing on understanding the underlying mechanisms for eating disorders.
